SAFE WORKSPLACE
Our Security Policy
In accordance with our sustainability policy, we put people at the center and give the health and safety of our employees the utmost importance. We aim to create a safe working culture within the organization by organizing various activities, especially training.
We first offer 16 hours of mandatory essential workplace health and safety training to make our employees aware of workplace health and safety. In addition to this training prepared within the framework of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, we also offer training content in the fields of work permit, OHS practices in maritime affairs, process safety, working at height, and first aid.
A Healthy and Safe Working Environment
Protecting the health and safety of our employees is a top priority. We regularly conduct microbiological and chemical analyzes of potable water. We perform 3rd party Food Safety and Hygiene Inspections quarterly in all dining halls in our field. In factory and maintenance management, we organize monthly committee meetings where OHS issues are discussed, and we produce solutions by proactively evaluating the dangers and risks in the workplace.
Process Safety
We emphasize our operation’s safety and the environment's health so that our plants can function without interruption. In our business processes, we refer to the "SAFE Management Approach" created by Fertex Holding by bringing together the best OHS-E practices worldwide. Within this approach, we strive to assess our work's compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, register it, and integrate it with other management systems.
We go beyond statutory occupational safety requirements and focus on high-tech OSH projects. Some of these projects are as follows: Modernizing the piers, using the inspection robot for periodic maintenance, establishing the control and procedures of the ESD systems, performing their functions and maintenance according to this procedure, carrying out the double and triple shift systems, applying the standard radio procedure in the facility with the appropriate infrastructure.
